\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
PRIVATE PROCEDURE LAW AND LITIGATION INCLUDES:<\/h5>

Interlocutory relief proceedings either as plaintiff or defendant before the Cantonal Courts of first instance in Paramaribo and Nickerie and of appeal before the Court of Justice in Paramaribo, on claims including:<\/strong><\/p>

  • performance of a contract enforced with a penalty payment<\/li>
  • stay of execution of decissions or enforcement orders for recovery of hypothec or pledges<\/li>
  • prohibition or injunction enforced with a penalty payment<\/li>
  • payment under agreement<\/li>
  • advance payment of damages for breach of contract or tort<\/li>
  • defamation, libel or slander, e.g., a media report<\/li>
  • legal transfer of ownership of movable or immovable choses<\/li>
  • delivery of choses in case of unlawful possession<\/li>
  • continued payment of wages in the event of void dismissal<\/li><\/ul>

    Proceedings on the merits before the Cantonal Courts of first instance in Paramaribo and Nickerie, and of appeal before the Court of Justice in Paramaribo, on claims or requests including:<\/strong><\/p>

    • dissolution of contracts<\/li>
    • to declare obligations conracts or terms null\/void<\/li>
    • dissolution of (employment)contracts<\/li>
    • full compensation of damages from breach of contract and from tort<\/li>
    • compensation for personal injury (pecuniary & non-pecuniary)<\/li>
    • permission for provisional attachment or garnishment ( third-party seizure) on movable and immovable property and on assets e.g. at banks<\/li>
    • dissolution of marriage and divorce proceedings<\/li>
    • custody<\/li>
    • alimony (child \/ spousal)<\/li>
    • dissolution and dividing of the community of goods<\/li><\/ul>

      Present oral arguments at court hearings and trials e.g.:<\/strong><\/p>

      • support and assist clients during personal appearance of parties or hearing of witnesses<\/li>
