Minimum requirements:
- age 25 years
- completed secretarial college education or vocational training
- superior proficiency in Dutch, spoken and written
- excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch
- as well as in English
- accurate and assertive
- thorough knowledge of Word and Excel
- fluent typing
- proficient in the use of the Internet
- ability to work independently as well as in a team
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- creative and innovative abilities
- stress-resistant
General secretarial work:
- handle phonecalls
- diary management of at least 2 lawyers
- handle incoming/outgoing (electronic) correspondence
- prepare simple correspondence
- develop draft documents (letters, e-mails, other documents)
- imposition of documents
Specific duties:
- communicate with professional affiliated bodies (Public Prosecutions Department, Cantonal Court, Court of Justice, MI-Glis, etc.)
- prepare and maintain cause lists (register of civil cases) using session information
- monitor deadlines of court hearings, summonses, etc., among other things)
- create files
- maintaining various databases in Excel
