ADVICE ON CRIMINAL LAW AND LITIGATION
IN CRIMINAL CASES, WE OFFER THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:
- Submit complaints to the Court of Justice against the decision not to prosecute
- Act quickly in the event of arrests by liaising with the relevant police inspector, public prosecutor or procurator-general
- Advise and be present at arraignments at the police station and at the public prosecutor’s office as well as at the office of the examining judge in criminal matters
- Advise in criminal cases and represent the suspect before the examining jugde and the cantonal judge
- Provide written recommendations in ongoing criminal trials
- Submit requests for release to the examining jugde and or to the Court of Justice
- Submit complaints against forfeiture and seizure of property
- Submit complaints against deprivation of the right to a driver’s license
- Present oral arguments to the cantonal judge in first instance and appeal to the Court of Justice in extradition cases
- Assist with requests for international mutual legal assistance
- Litigate in criminal interlocutory relief proceedings
- Submit request for pardon and compensation ex. Article 77 of the Code of Criminal Procedure
- Submit complaints to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and other international judicial authorities
